Today’s “Bun B Day” In Houston →
One of Hip-Hop’s most noble citizens has just been honored with his very own day in the city that doesn’t hesitate to call him family. Houston mayor Annise Parker bestowed Bun with a proclamation to City Hall and from this day forward, August 30th will be known as “Bernard ‘Bun B’ Freeman Day.” in Texas’ biggest city.

I just heard that "Can't Get Enough" joint by J....
It’s super obvious that the higher-ups at Roc Nation are targeting the “Drake demographic” with J. Cole. And it makes me angry. I know I posted Work Out on my tumblr like two months ago and I still like it, but after hearing Can’t Get Enough I’m worriedthat all the songs on Cole World are gonna be that type of music.

Hip-hop snobbery used to really bother me, but I’m kinda understanding it now . Guilty Pleasure of the Month - "Super Bass" by...
I know the songs been out for like 4 months, but I heard it for the first time today since I don’t listen to the radio. Even though I find Nicki Minaj’s “schizophrenic” flow obnoxious, I love the super catchy hook and I’ve been singing it all day.
