Balam Acab - “Motion”
If you’re into downtempo or ambient music I highly suggest you check out Balam Acab’s album Wander/Wonder.
That’s a lot of Natalie Portman for one week.

I’m only on track three and I already know this is the trippiest hip-hop album I’m going to listen to this year.

I really liked last night’s episode of Doctor Who. An emotional story that provided further character development for Amy and Rory and it was carried by some impressive performances from Gillan and Darvill.
There is one thing that really bugged me though: instead of just saying “Push the button”, why didn’t Rory shout out “Push the green button” like a normal person would? Even if he did just say push the button, why didn’t Amy ask “Which button? There’s two of them!”
It’s a lot like how the Eagles never helped out Frodo and the rest of The Fellowship in the Lord of the Rings books without any explanation. It’s a plot hole that could have very easily been fixed (Tolkien could have explained why the eagles couldn’t intervene during the Council of Elrond), but everything else was so well done that you have to let it slide.
…even though I listen to a lot of artists that fall under that subgenre.
Is the opposite unconscious hip-hop? I wanna listen to that shit. Somebody rapping while they’re not even awake sounds impressive.
SKEWED EMPATHY - CRYSTAL CASTLES VS OUTKAST + RAEKWON
I need to find more mash-up songs with rappers over Crystal Castles tracks.
But then I did a little bit of research and found a lot of stories written by current and former pharmacy techs who say that 90% of the customers they deal with are jerks. I instantly gave up on the whole idea.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that wasn’t an exaggeration. It makes sense considering most of the customers they deal with are sick, old, sick and old, or taking care of someone who is sick and/or old. I’d be cranky too if I was any of those things.
