Neil Gaiman just answered my question on his tumblr and it just made my day. I get genuinely excited about having any interaction with an artist or athlete who I admire, even when it’s over keyboards and computer screens.
I hope I didn’t really offend him with my half-joking question though. Maybe “scary” was the wrong word and, as someone suggested in the comments section, maybe I really meant “intimidating”. I’ve read and loved several of Mr. Moore and Mr. Ellison’s works, but if I ever saw either one of them dining at the same restaurant I’m in I’d tremble at the thought of even approaching them based on how they have been portrayed/portrayed themselves in the media.
